Do I need to pay to apply for a position?
No, never. No application, training program, or Vorabstimmung contract ever requires payment, no matter who asks you for it.
How long does the recruitment process take?
On average 3 to 6 weeks, from application to final decision. Specialized positions or those requiring diploma recognition may take longer.
Can I apply without fluency in German?
It depends on the position. Some training programs start at A2 level with integrated language courses; qualified positions and pre-employment internships generally require B1 to B2. The required level is always stated on the position sheet.
Which language levels are recognized?
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1 to C2), certified by telc, Goethe-Institut, ÖSD, or TestDaF. An internal level test can be arranged if you don't yet hold a certificate.
What documents do I need to prepare to apply?
Depending on the position: an up-to-date CV, a cover letter, a copy of your ID or passport, copies of diplomas and transcripts, and where applicable a reference or professional evaluation letter. The exact list is shown in your candidate portal.
Can I apply before I have all my documents?
You can create your profile and upload the documents you already have, then complete your file progressively. An application stays marked "Documents to complete" until all required documents are provided.
What happens if a document is rejected or incorrect?
The document is marked "Needs correction" in your candidate portal with the reason stated. You can replace it directly online without restarting the whole application.
Can I track the progress of my application?
Yes, through your candidate portal, in real time: application status, status of each document, and exchange history.
Is there an age limit to apply?
It depends on the program: some vocational training programs and mobility visas to Germany have regulatory age limits. Any applicable limit is stated on the position sheet.
Will my Cameroonian diploma be recognized in Germany or Austria?
It depends on the profession and destination country. We support you through the recognition (Anerkennung) process whenever the chosen position or training program requires it.
What is the difference between a pre-employment internship, vocational training, and a direct job?
A pre-employment internship prepares you for a specific position before a permanent contract. Vocational training (Ausbildung) combines classroom learning with hands-on practice over several months or years. A direct job is an immediately available position with an employment contract. Each listing states its category.
Are vocational training programs paid?
It varies by program: some dual training programs (Ausbildung) pay a monthly allowance in Germany or Austria; other preparatory training programs in Cameroon are unpaid but tuition-free. The status is always stated on the position sheet.
What is a Vorabstimmung contract?
It is a preliminary agreement between the candidate and the employer or training provider, signed before visa procedures begin, confirming the terms of the position or training. It never involves any payment from you.
Do you guarantee I will get a visa?
No. We support the administrative process and your file, but the visa decision rests exclusively with the German or Austrian consular authorities.
What happens if my application is rejected?
You receive a reasoned response in your candidate portal and by email. You can apply to other positions matching your profile, and ask to remain in our talent pool for future opportunities.
Can I withdraw my application?
Yes, at any time from your candidate portal. The status changes to "Application withdrawn" and the file is closed with no impact on future applications.
What is the talent pool and how does it work?
With your explicit consent, your profile can be kept and matched against new positions that fit your background, without having to reapply from scratch. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
Can I update or complete my file after submitting it?
Yes. As long as the final decision hasn't been made, you can update your documents and information from your candidate portal.
How is my personal data protected?
Your data is kept for a maximum of 24 months unless you consent to extended retention, is hosted securely, and is never shared with a third party without your explicit agreement. See our Privacy page for details.
What should I do if I receive a suspicious message asking for money?
Do not pay and do not share any banking information. Report the attempt immediately via our anti-fraud safety page, specifying the channel used (WhatsApp, email, Facebook...).
How can I verify that a listing or message is official?
Our official communications come only from the domains and addresses listed on our anti-fraud safety page. If in doubt, contact us directly through those channels before responding.
Can I apply to several positions at once?
Yes, with a single candidate profile you can apply to several positions matching your qualifications and track each one independently in your candidate portal.
I don't have an account, how do I create my profile?
Go to "Create account", enter your personal information, then complete your profile (documents, background) before you can apply to a position.
