Job description
- Strategy & Planning: establish the annual fundraising plan, including objectives, audiences, channels, budgets, and key performance indicators.
- Portfolio Development: identify, qualify, and engage major donors (HNI), corporations, foundations, and international organizations.
- 360° Campaigns: design/implement multichannel campaigns (emailing, events, social media, donation pages, diaspora).
- Grant-making: map opportunities, manage responses to calls for projects, concept notes, grant applications, reporting.
- Donor Relationship Management: pipeline, segmentation, nurturing, thank yous, retention, and upgrades.
- Partnerships & Sponsorship: value propositions, sponsorship agreements (cash/in-kind), visibility activation.
- Data & Compliance: CRM tracking, dashboards, fund traceability, internal compliance, audits, ethics, and transparency.
- Internal Synergies: coordination with Communication/Programs/Finance for strong and measurable impact narratives.
- Representation: prospect meetings, events, pitches, webinars, institutional and corporate relations.
required profile
- Bachelor's +4/5 in project development/management, fundraising, communication/marketing, international relations or equivalent.
- Significant experience(3–5 years minimum) in fundraising, sponsorship, corporate/foundation relations, or high-value B2B sales.
- Mastery of fundraising techniques, and grant management and digital levers.
- Excellent negotiation skills, writing(flawless French),presentation and impactful storytelling.
- English is essential; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Strong interest in education, training and social engagement engagement social.

- Fundraising strategy: major donors, corporate sponsorship, foundations, diaspora, general public campaigns.
- Grant writing: logframe, theory of change, budget, impact indicators, due diligence.
- Marketing & digital: segmentation, automation, donation pages, social ads (bases), analyses/KPI.
- Pipeline management & CRM: qualification, prioritization, forecasting, reporting.
- Ethics & governance: transparency, traceability, accountability.
- Finance & compliance: tracking of assignments, supporting documents, audits, anti-fraud, data protection.

Working conditions
- Work location: KAGEDEV Cameroon – Douala, Bonamoussadi
- Working hours: 47.5 h / week
- Contract:Fixed-term (direct employment).
- Compensation: 420,000,000 XAF base +performance and achievement bonus.
- Provided resources:computer tools, CRM access, communication materials, meeting spaces.
- Travel occasional possible (meetings with donors, companies, events).
- Start date: as soon as possible, depending on the availability of the selected candidate.
main tasks
Reporting to the Philanthropy Branch, you will design and implement strategies to recruit new members and donors, with a particular focus on recent graduates and students. You will increase community engagement through consistent and impactful outreach, fundraising appeals, and donor-friendly events.
In this regard, your main tasks will be as follows:
Call for donations: teamwork to conceptualize and create calls to reach potential donors, targeted communication according to stakeholders, organize discussion groups with students... etc.
Donor management: assist in portfolio management (donors and prospects), implement a relationship management program, create a workshop on philanthropy, in collaboration with other departments ensure the implementation of programs and projects... etc.
Planning and event management: plan and manage the annual calendar of events, collaborate with other departments and with the team for projects (planning, budget, engagement or even suppliers) ... etc.
