B2B- B2C Commercial (6-month pre-employment internship)

KAGEDEV Cameroon is an association that promotes access to education and training for Cameroonians. In addition to its own initiatives, KAGEDEV Cameroon supports local actors in the design, development, and implementation of education projects. The goal is to strengthen capacities and promote the autonomy of populations (communities, parents, teachers, etc.) so that they can become sustainable actors in their own lives and responsible citizens.

Job Description

  • Prospecting & qualification: identify leads (field, phone, social media, events), segment and prioritize. 
  • Consulting & sales: conduct interviews, understand needs, propose the appropriate offer, close the sale. 
  • Pipeline follow-up: manage the complete cycle in the CRM tool (appointments, follow-ups, statuses, forecasts).
  • Partnerships: support connections with schools, training centers, companies, and mobility actors.
  • Reporting: track KPIs (leads, conversions, revenue, timelines), propose corrective actions.
  • Commercial events: participation/facilitation of information sessions, trade shows, webinars, open houses.
  • Monitoring & ethics: respect internal procedures, confidentiality, and the associative spirit of KAGEDEV. 

Desired Profile

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (2–3 years) in business, marketing, communication, or equivalent.)
  • First commercial experience (internship/apprenticeship/freelance) appreciated.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, a taste for challenge, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Perfectly bilingual: excellent French & English (written/oral)
  • Strong interest in education, training, and international mobility.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Sales techniques: discovery, value proposition, handling objections, closing
  • Multichannel prospecting: phone, email, WhatsApp/Telegram, social media, field
  • CRM & reporting: pipeline tracking, forecasting, dashboards
  • Marketing concepts: catchy messages, sales pitches, campaign support.
  • Organization: agenda management, prioritization, meeting deadlines.

Working conditions

  • Contract : 6-month pre-employment internship; direct hiring if objectives are met
  • Hours : 47.5 hours/week,in-person at the Bonamoussadi office (Douala)
  • Compensation (internship) : 50,000 XAF/month +performance and productivity bonuses
  • Resources : CRM and communication tools provided; personal computer appreciated.
  • Travel possible for commercial/event actions (according to schedule)
